Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the oldest mentoring organization serving youth in the country, remains the leading expert in our field.

Boy Scouts of America.  The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America supports more than 300 local councils that provide quality youth programs, including Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing.

California Commission on Improving Life Through Service.  The California Commission on Improving Life Through Service (CILTS), the Governor's community service commission, was established in 1994 and is dedicated to uniting Californians of all ages and backgrounds in community services. CILTS promotes citizen involvement by all Californians and strongly supports national and community service and volunteerism programs.

Children's Defense Fund.  CDF provides a strong, effective voice for all the children of America who cannot vote, lobby, or speak for themselves. We pay particular attention to the needs of poor and minority children and those with disabilities.  CDF educates the nation about the needs of children and encourages preventive investment before they get sick or into trouble, drop out of school, or suffer family breakdown.

Do Something.  Do Something is a nationwide network of young people who know they can make a difference in their communities and take action to change the world around them.

Girl Scouts of the USA.  Girl Scouts is the world's pre-eminent organization dedicated soley to girls.  Working together with committed adults, Girl Scouts helps girls grow strong in body, mind, and spirit - and have fun.

Head Start. Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development programs which serve children from birth to age 5, pregnant women, and their families. They are child-focused programs and have the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families.

Junior Achievement.  Junior Achievement is passionate people inspiring kids to learn the economics of life through free enterprise education. JA enables caring business professionals to share their experience with students to show them what it takes to be successful.

Massachusetts Promise.  The mission of the Massachusetts Service Alliance is to generate an ethic of service throughout the Commonwealth by creating and supporting diverse, high quality service and volunteer opportunities for all age groups, resulting in stronger communities and more active citizens.

National Association for the Education of Young Children.  The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the nation's largest and most influential organization of early childhood educators and others dedicated to improving the quality of programs for children from birth through third grade.

National Education Association. NEA is America's oldest and largest organization committed to advancing the cause of public education. Founded in 1857 in Philadelphia and now headquartered in Washington, D.C., NEA proudly claims more than 2.5 million members who work at every level of education, from pre-school to university graduate programs.

National Mentoring Partnership. The National Mentoring Partnership is an advocate for the expansion of mentoring and a resource for mentors and mentoring initiatives nationwide.

New York State Council on Children and Families. The Council on Children and Families is a state agency within the Executive Department charged with ensuring the coordination of services to children and families in order to achieve the most rational and effective services system possible.

Points of Light Foundation. Founded in May 1990, the Foundation is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization devoted to promoting volunteerism. The Foundation is based in Washington, DC, and works in communities throughout the United States through a network of over 500 Volunteer Centers.

Reading is Fundamental.  Reading Is Fundamental, Inc. (RIF) develops and delivers children's and family literacy programs that help prepare young children for reading and motivate school-age children to read.
